Seattle.NET was started in early 2009 by Jason Haley. The first official meeting was held in March, 2009. Running a user group with just one person is a daunting task and Jason announced he was searching for volunteers. In the few months following the initial meeting, Keri Kusznir signed on to assist in organizing and maintaining the group at which time the group meetings were relocated to the Starbucks Support Center and is where they remain held today. In June of 2009 Jason relocated to Boston and Keri was joined by a fellow co-worker, Michal Kownas to help run the group.
